摘要： PURPOSE:To impart a lumber material with a fire retardant, preservative characteristics, mothproof property, hardness, dimensional stability and the like by impregnating solution containing phosphoric acid or boric acid to a lumber, and after drying, by applying or impregnating, and then curing, epoxidized high grade unsaturated acid ester or the like to the lumber material. CONSTITUTION:A solution is impregnated into a lumber, after drying it subsequently, epoxidized high grade unsaturated acid ester or the like is applied and impregnated into the lumber. Through this process, the epoxy group undergoes ring-opening addition so as to form an ester linkage by the catalytic action of the phosph oric acid or the like, besides, it also produces an etherified linkage with the hydroxyl group in resin and hydroxyamine or the like, and the cure progresses then. Further, the epoxy group of epoxidized high grade unsaturated acid also produces an etherified linkage with the hydroxyl group of a lumber component such as cellulose or the like. As a result, it prevents the eluting out of phosphoric acid and boric acid from the lumber material. Consequently, even under the severe conditions such as water soaking or outdoor exposure, fire retardant, preservative characteristics, and mothproof property can be maintained and dimensional stability can also be improved through the bulking effect to a lumber cell wall.

CONSTITUTION:First, a woody material is impregnated and cured with resin liquid such as phenol resin or the like in a manner of leaving spaces such as cellular lumens or the like of a woody material to increase compression strength of the woody material, and then transparent addition polymerization type resin liquid is injected into spaces. At that time, the injection amount of addition polymerization type resin liquid is limited and reduced by thermosetting resin impregnated and cured on cell walls, and also impregnated evenly all over. When the woody material is thermoset and cured in said state, the woody material is not turned into transparent and thickened and shows the appearance in which the tone of grains leaves as it is.

摘要： PURPOSE:To impart a lumber material with an excellent dimensional stability, preservative property, mothproof property, fire retardant and the like, and reform the lumber at a low cost by impregnating a solution having one or more ingredients respectively of a soluble organic polybasic acid and the acid salt of phosphoric acid to the lumber material. CONSTITUTION:A lumber is soaked into the organic solution of organic polybasic acid and the acid salt of phosphoric acid, and impregnated with said solution. By heating and drying them, the organic polybasic acid and the active group of hydroxyl group or the like in the lumber component produce a hydrate condensing reaction at the same time of drying by the catalytic action of the acid salt of phosphoric acid, and then bond chemically, thereby giving a dimensional stability, fire retardant, mothproof property, preservative property and the like, moreover, these properties come to be maintained for a long time.
