摘要： A method of manufacturing a synthetic resin tubular member having differently oriented inlet tube portion and outlet tube portion wherein separate halves of the tubular member are molded in a pair of molding dies, the molded separate halves in the molding dies being brought into abutment with each other, a melted resin mass being filled into an interior passage defined along a peripheral edge of the abutted portions to thereby join the separate halves, the method comprising: using molding dies ford die rotary injection molding which have a core portion to be fitted to the tube end of one of the inlet and outlet tube portions and are slidable in a direction different from the direction in which die opening and closing is made; and carrying out the steps of core insertion, die clamping, injection, die opening, core removal, ejection, and die rotation, whereby each time when one rotational movement of the molding dies is made, a primary molding operation for molding separate halves and a secondary molding operation for joining a pair of separate halves are carried out so that a finished component will be obtained for each rotational movement of the molding dies.

摘要： In an engine with side-by-side cylinder head intake and exhaust valves 12, 13 and intake and exhaust ports 10 and 11 extending to opposite sides of the head, a fuel injector 16 and a spark plug 19 mounted on the intake port side of the head have their axes 16a and 19b inclined away from the exhaust port side relative to the cylinder axis 6a. The cylinders 6 may in use be inclined to the vertical, a trough 28 in the head 3 collecting oil for return to the sump through passages 26, 27 with the trough spaced from the boss 21 defining the downstream end of the exhaust port. The head 3 is secured to the block 2 by bolts (4a, Fig.2) passing outwardly of the valve gear chamber 14 and bolts 4b extending into the chamber.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fitting of a connection part at the tip of a branch pipe in the fit-in hole of an intake air port inlet part and to perform connection with excellent workability. SOLUTION: The seal structure of an intake manifold is a seal structure between connection parts 4a-4c at the tips of the branch pipes 3a-3c of an intake manifold 1 and the inlet parts of intake air ports 11a-11c. A seal ring 7 is mounted on the outer peripheries of the connection parts 4a-4c and fit-in hole parts 12a-12c in which the connection parts 4a-4c are inserted in a fitted-in state through compression of a seal ring 7, are formed in the inlet parts of the intake ports 11a-11c. A distance from the tips of the connection parts 4a-4c to the arrangement position of the seal ring 7 or the lengths of the fit-in hole part 12a-12c are properly differed by the branch pipes 3a-3c or the fit-in hole part. When the connection parts 4a-4c are inserted in a fitted-in manner in the fit-in hole parts 12a-12c, a position wherein the seal ring 7 is started to fit in the fit-in hole parts 12a-12c is properly differed.
