    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prolonged continuous operation with a higher efficiency of retarded combustion by arranging pin-shaped protrusions for preventing sliding down of wastes fed at a specified interval on the internal wall of a rotary kiln to effectively stir up the wastes therein. SOLUTION: Pin-shaped protrusions 14 are arranged on the internal wall surface of a rotary kiln 10 along a spiral opposite to the direction of rotation of the rotary kiln. By the reverse spiral is meant a spiral state in which an action is developed to send wastes 18 upward against the downward movement of the wastes 18 when a cylinder body 11 is rotated in a specified direction. With the formation of the protrusions, one mass of the wastes 18 lifted up by the pin-shaped protrusions 14 is pushed back slightly toward to the front side with the rotation of the rotary kiln 10 thereby enabling the extending of retention time within the cylinder body 11. This enables effectively stirring up of the wastes 18 thereby achieving an efficient and sufficient retarded combustion.

CONSTITUTION:This is the shaft seal structure of a movement electrode type electric dust collector which is provided with the shaft support device of the movement type electric dust collector at the opening portion of a dust collector side surface casing and supports a movement electrode shaft so as to be able to slide forward and backward and in a sealed-up state through packings provided in the support device, and in the seal structure of a shaft penetration portion, support plates 6 into which gland packings 2 and filling materials 5 are inserted, are provided in a state in which they are mechanically free from a main body casing 30, and consideration is so given that the deformation of the main body does not affect the galling or biting of the shaft and the surface pressure change of the filling materials.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify equipment and to decrease the reflying of collected dust by installing a dust discharge means in the lower part of a dust collector through a cutoff valve, arranging a portable closed dust storage/transfer means that is attachable to and detachable from the dust discharge means and connecting the dust discharge means and the inlet side part of the dust collector by a pressure equalizing piping. CONSTITUTION:A dust collector body 1 and a discharge hopper 4 are connected by a pressure equalizing piping 7 having a stop valve 6 When the dust collected and deposited in a lower hopper 2 of a dust collector body 1 is discharged, first the stop valve 6 is opened to equalize the pressure in the dust collector body 1 with that in a tank lorry 5. Next, swing valves 3 incorporated into upper and lower discharge hoppers 4 are opened to discharge the collected dust collected and deposited in the lower hopper 2 into the tank lorry 5. As a result, the collected dust is discharged, completely sealed from outside the system and since the equalization is made, reflying dust contg. gas flows to the inlet side of the dust collector through the pressure equalizing piping. Therefore, the lowering of dust collecting performance due to reflying of dust is not caused.

    • PURPOSE:To make it easy to replace filter cloths by contracting filter cloths suspended from a ceiling plate in a bag chamber vertically, then taking the cloths together with the ceiling plate out of the bag chamber, and instead, suspending another filter cloths prepared previously from the ceiling plate to introduce the cloths in a contracted state into the bag chamber. CONSTITUTION:Filter cloths suspended from ascendable ceiling plates 2A to 2E in bag chambers 6A to 6E are allowed to contract vertically all at once, and then are taken out of the bag chamber together with the ceiling plates 4A to 4E through a delivery outlet 9A. Instead, another filter cloths prepared previously are suspended from the ceiling plates 2A to 2E, then are introduced in a contracted state into the bag chambers 6A to 6E, and are elongated vertically. Thus time required for the replacement of the filter cloth is shortened significantly. In addition, a working environment can be improved as the filter cloths are given a maintenance service outside the bag chamber. That is, simplifying the work to set the temperature of a working site, operation in a clean ambient due to partial dust collection, remove the filter cloth using well- maintained replacement equipment and install the filter cloth is achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To continuously produce zeolite by charging coal ash and aq. sodium hydroxide with the concn. and temp. controlled into a reaction tank separated into multiple stages and provided with a measuring device in each stage, allowing the mixture to flow down while being subjected to a reaction and discharging the reaction product from the lower stage. CONSTITUTION:Coal ash from a coal ash feed pipe 7 and aq. sodium hydroxide with the concn. and temp. controlled from an aq. NaOH feed pipe 8 are charged into the uppermost reaction chamber 2 in a reaction tank 1 and externally heated to 70-400 deg.C. A reaction takes place at 90-100 deg.C, and the mixture contg. reaction products is allowed to flow down successively into the reaction chambers 3-5 through an overflow device 13. The reaction is controlled by an NaOH concn. measuring device 14, a silica ion amt. measuring device 15 and a computing element 16, and the NaOH concn. is adjusted by the flow control valve 10 of an aq. NaOH feed pipe 11. The reaction product almost completely converted to zeolite in the reaction chamber is continuously discharged from a discharge pipeline 17 and supplied to the succeeding press dehydrator.
