    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for intermittently or continuously measuring a specimen present in a biological system. SOLUTION: The method for intermittently or continuously measuring the specimen existent in the biological system includes: a step (a) for percutaneously sampling the specimen from the biological system by using a sampling system which operationally comes into contact with the epidermis or the surface of a mucous membrane of the biological system; a step (b) for acquiring a non-processed signal from the sampled specimen with respect to a concentration of the specimen; a step (c) for converting the non-processed signal to an initial signal output representing a quantity of specimens sampled by the sampling system by applying a conversion step to the non-processed signal acquired in the step (b); a step (d) for carrying out a calibration step for converting the initial signal output acquired in the step (c) to a measured value representing the concentration of the specimen which is present in the biological system at the time point of sampling; and a step (e) for acquiring a plurality of measured values by repeating the steps (a)-(c) once at least.
