摘要： This invention is directed to a decorated dispensing container. The container is substantially transparent and has a decoration on the front and/or rear surface. The dispensing unit comprises a pump mechanism with a dip tube at one end and a dispensing channel at the other end. The dip tube has an identifiable shape formed in the dip tube. This identifiable shape can be a land, sea or air animal, or an inanimate object. This inanimate shape is molded into the dip tube and colors are applied by hand painting or the use of a shrink label or an in mold label. By the use of a decorated identifiable shape and a coordinating label on the front and/or rear surface of the container a 3-D effect is imparted to the container and product.

However, any plastic film having a Taber stiffness of more than about 5 and preferably about 7 to 20 can be used. The soap bar (10) in order to facilitate making an effective longitudinal seal on the bottom of the soap bar package should have a planar surface adjacent to the position of the overlapping longitudinal edges of the wrapping film (40). This provides a surface for the sealing plate to seal the longitudinal edges against.

In order to assist in making folds to form the end walls, the film material can be weakened by being thinned, perforated or slit at the fold points or lines. 摘要： A pouch package (30) is formed that has a multilayer structure of two or more layers where the longitudinal seal (34) is formed from a bonding of the inner layer to the inner layer in a fin seal arrangement. One layer of the multilayer structure is a seal layer and another layer a barrier layer. There can be additional layers such as additional barrier layers and cutter lubricant layers. It is preferred that the multilayer structure has two to four layers (not counting adhesive tie layers) and that the inner seal layer be readily sealable by means of radio frequency energy. The longitudinal seal (34) will preferably be along a side surface so as to have a spout. The pouch (30) is made on form/fill equipment from a multilayer sheet by the multilayer sheet being formed into a tubular member with a longitudinal seal (34). A lower seal (38) then is formed, the pouch (30) filled and severed from the adjacent tubular member. The pouch (30) will contain products such as bleaches, fabric softeners, soaps, glass cleaners and bath and shower gels and lotions.

摘要： Soap bars are packaged in a single sheet of material which can be plastic, paper, paperboard or combinations of these materials in the form of laminates. The soap bars are packaged in high-speed machines at more than about 50/minute. The single sheet of material is die cut to form a main section with the top, bottom and longitudinal side panels and end flaps appended to each panel. In order to promote folding at the desired points the sheet of material is weakened by scoring, perforating or scoring at the fold points. This weakening can be done just prior to feeding to the wrapping machine or at the time of die cutting. The die cutting can be done at the time of feeding in to the wrapping machine. The packaged soap bar will have planar end surfaces so that the package can stand on end and can have corner vents to permit the escape of some moisture and some fragrance at the point of sale.

摘要： Soap bars can be effectively packaged in substantially transparent materials so that the soap bar can be seen through the packaging material. This is particularly useful with decorative colored translucent soap bars. The soap bars first are at least partially enveloped in a first relatively thick and stiff substantially transparent film and then fully enveloped in a second relatively thin substantially transparent film. The soap bars are generally rectangular but with rounded edges and a shape that tapers in cross-section from a midpoint of the soap bar to the ends. The first film forms a substantially rectangular cylinder which envelops about 95 % to about 105 % of the soap bar. This rectangular cylinder is open at each end. The second film fully envelops the soap bar. The end package provides a soap bar maintained within a rectangular cylinder with a low fragrance loss and a moisture transmissivity of less than about 3gm/m /day.
