    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing method of a non-closed fitting pipe unnecessary for any large opening work or removing work under execution, and capable of employing an effective countermeasures to the non-closed fitting pipe by a method of excellent construction and working efficiency and at low cost. SOLUTION: In the closing method of the non-closed fitting pipe, an execution robot 1 of a conveying device with a closing cap 6 and a cap elevating/lowering device 3 being mounted thereon is carried in for installation into a sewage system main pipe 8 buried in the ground via a manhole 9, and the execution robot 1 is traveled in the sewage system main pipe 8 and moved to the burial position of the underground non-closed fitting pipe 10 connected to the sewage system main pipe 8 and necessary for treatment. Thereafter, the closing cap 6 is elevated by the elevating/lowering device 3 and inserted in the main pipe side of the non-closed fitting pipe 10. An outer circumferential surface of the closing cap 6 is press-fitted to an inner circumferential surface of the non-closed fitting pipe 10 and fixed thereto, and the non-closed fitting pipe 10 is sealed by the closing cap 6 and closed.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively take measures for a non-closed fitting pipe, without requiring extensive open-cut construction and removal work.SOLUTION: A construction robot 1 mounted with a closing cap 6 of a structure extended toward the radial outward side by a balloon 31 filled with a filler, a cap lifting and lowering device 3 and a nut rotation mechanism is carried into a main pipe 8 via a man-hole 9 and is thereby installed. The robot 1 is run in the main pipe 8 and moved to a buried position of a non-closed fitting pipe 10 in the ground, connected to the main pipe 8. Thereafter, the balloon 31 filled with the filler and the cap 6 are raised by the lifting and lowering device 3 and are inserted to the main pipe 8 side of the non-closed fitting pipe 10, a bolt and the like are fastened by the nut rotation mechanism to extend the cap 6 to the radial outside and is fixed while the outer circumferential surface of the cap 6 is in press-contact with the inner circumferential surface of the non-closed fitting pipe 10, the non-closed fitting pipe 10 is sealed by the cap 6, and in this state, the balloon 31 is ruptured and a void of the non-closed fitting pipe 10 above the cap 6 is filled and closed.
