    • PURPOSE:To provide a picking up apparatus, which does not leak radiation fluid, by making it possible to connect a sample pickup container having a sample pickup part with a specified volume, a bypass and a radiation measuring window to an intermediate part of a fluid sample conveying pipe by automatic attaching means, and switching and flowing the sample and a clean liquid alternately. CONSTITUTION:A pickup container 29 has a sample pickup part 28 with a specified volume, a bypass 30 and a radiation measuring window 34 at the pickup part 28. At both ends of the container 29, joints 32 are connected to compressing joints 33, which are provided at flexible pipes 40 in a fluid-sample circulating system. Air cylinders 44 and 45 are positioned by a bearing 42 and a spring 43 in a flow path switching mechanism 41. A fluid-sample supplying pipe 12 and a clean-fluid supplying pipe 31 are connected by a switching valve 22. The device 29 is connected to a pipe 11 at the joints 32 and 33 by using automatic attaching means. After the sample fluid has been picked up, the device 29 is removed and attached to a radiation analyzing device. Thus the accurate sample picking up apparatus, which does not need a sealing hood and does not leak the sample, can be provided.

    • PURPOSE:To execute the instrumentation with high accuracy extending over a wide flow quantity range, by making drainage pass through inside of a conduit pipe by means of noncontact, providing plural watercourses consisting of plural water pouring nozzles which are decided by the flow quantity of drainage, changing them over in accordance with magnitude of the flow quantity of drainage, and making water pass through. CONSTITUTION:Drainage which is poured from a water pouring nozzle is made to pass through a drain-pipe 20 by means of noncontact. On the outside of the drain- pipe 20 is provided a radiant ray detector 15 surrounded by a shielding body 14, and a detection output of the detector 15 is sent to a counter 16 and is measured. In addition to a well-known constitution, valves 5, 6, rectifying pipes 7, 8 and water pouring nozzles 9, 10 are provided. As for these two systems, one system consisting of the valve 5, rectifying pipe 7 and water pouring nozzle 9 is used for a small flow quantity, on the other hand, the system consisting of the valve 6, rectifying pipe 8 and water pouring nozzle 10 is used for a large flow quantity, and they are selected and used depending on whether the flow quantity of drainage is large or small.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a monitor having high accuracy, by providing a flow meter and a rectifying body on the watercourse before drainage is made to pass through by means of noncontact, and correcting a measured value by a radioactivity measuring means, by use of a flow quantity signal from the flow meter. CONSTITUTION:Drainage 6 is fed by a feed water pump 1, passes through a flow meter 2, a rectifying pipe 3 and a water pouring nozzle 4, is made to pass through so as not to contact with the inside wall of a pipe 5 of the measuring part, and the drainage 6 is further drained in the direction as indicated with an arrow 7. Clean water is always made to flow by a constant flow quantity alond the inside wall of the pipe 5 of the radiant ray measuring part by a feed pipe 8 and a guide plate 9. Radioactivity of drainage which is poured from the water pouring nozzle 4 is measured by a radiant ray detector 11 surrounded by a shielding body 10, and a counting device 12. A water pouring shape of drainage which is poured from the water pouring nozzle 4 is varied depending on the flow quantity, therefore, correction of a measured value becomes necessary. When correcting, a correcting operation part 14 is provided in advance on the counting device 12, an output of the flow meter 2 is sent by a signal circuit 13, and the correcting operation is executed in accordance with said signal.

CONSTITUTION:The detailed structure of an expanded pipe nozzle circumferential part 30 is also enlarged and shown. Drainge which is fed by a pump is fed by noncontact to the inside wall of a pipe 3 of the measuring part by a rectifying body 8 and an expanded pipe nozzle 20. Radioactivity of this drainage is measured by a radiant ray detector 5 which is surrounded by a shielding body 4, and its result is outputted to an output device 6. Also, a water film 13 of clean water is made on the inside wall of the measuring part pipe 3. When an expanded pipe nozzle having an expanded angle 8 deg. is utilized, an effective volume for measuring the radiant ray is increased by 40% or so. Accordingly, the sensitivity is also improved by 40% or so.
