The systems may include a user interface configured to accept a user input and a controller connected to the user interface. The controller may be configured to receive the user input and cause an additive delivery system to deliver at least one additive to the appliance. The methods include receiving an amount of the additive to be delivered to the appliance and receiving a time at which the additive is to be delivered to the appliance during a cycle. The method may further include activating an additive delivery system to deliver the amount of the additive at the time to the appliance.

摘要： An anti-theft alarm is provided, for a portable device such as a laptop computer. An embodiment of the anti-theft alarm comprises three main components: a uniquely coded tag for attachment to the bottom of the device, a pad upon which the device is placed, for sensing the tag, and an electrically powered control module. The module is connected to the pad. The control module is able to determine if the tag is still in contact with the pad--if not an alarm sounds immediately. The module can also determine if the electrical power has been disconnected and if the module has been moved (using a motion sensor). If there is no power and the module has been moved, an alarm sounds immediately. The alarm can be disabled with a key switch.

The sheet may be combined with decorative finishes including a tambour composite structure providing aesthetic and functional advantages.

摘要： A retractable conduit formed from a sheet of memory-set polyester. To manufacture the memory-set strip, the polyester sheet is wound into a desired coiled position. It is then heated and cooled in a manner to memory-set the sheet in a coiled form. After this process the sheet of polyester will automatically return to the coiled position after it has been uncoiled. In one form, suitable as a splashblock, the distal end of the polyester sheet is wider than the end attachable to a downspout. In another form the polyester sheet is sheathed in an elongated polyethylene tube, to form a retractable hose. In a preferred form, the distal end of the hose is supported on a spool which will roll along the ground as the hose is wound and unwound to further ensure that the hose retracts properly. The tube can also be provided with holes to act as a sprinkler if desired.
