    • Systems, methods, and computer storage mediums are provided for animating a static structure rendered in a three-dimensional environment. A method includes accessing mesh data associated with the static structure. The mesh data describes primitives used to render the static structure in the three-dimensional environment. Once the mesh data is accessed, the static structure is rendered in the three-dimensional environment such that the mesh data associated with the static structure is used to represent the static structure. Animation data associated with the static structure is also accessed. The animation data includes a transform that includes a motion type and a description of the group of primitives from the mesh data that the motion type is applied to. Once the animation data is accessed, the group of primitives is animated such that the motion type is applied to the group of primitives.

    • A system for collecting information from visited websites in a web browser. The system includes a web browser plug-in application having a set of user preferences for collecting certain target information from website. The system monitors the user navigating to one or more selected web-sites and parsing the websites for relevant target information. The system then compares the target information with the verified information stored in the database to generate relevant verified information. The user is alerted to the relevant verified website information and any target information that was not matched to the database. The user is then given the option of storing the relevant verified website information or searching for additional information. The unmatched information could potentially be crowd sourced to find the verified information or saved as verified information on its own. The user can then import the collected information into a workstation application.

    • A method is provided for enhancing heat transfer within an X-ray vacuum tube, from a hot component such as the rotating anode assembly to a cooler component such as the metal tube housing, by increasing surface emissivity of respective components. The method comprises the steps of fabricating each component from an alloy containing a specified minimum amount of chromium, and then implementing a first heating operation, wherein a fabricated component is heated in a dry hydrogen atmosphere for a first specified time period. Thereafter, a second heating operation is implemented, wherein the fabricated component is heated in a wet hydrogen atmosphere for a second specified time period. This procedure forms a refractory chromium oxide coating on the component that exhibits high absorption in the NIR region of the electromagnetic spectrum.
