摘要： An elastomer system having biocide properties is described, useful, in particular, for dental impressions. An efficient system is provided for destroying microbes, without adversely affecting the crosslinking properties and the mechanical qualities of RTV 2 elastomers. Said system comprises an RTV 2 silicone, preferably SiH/SiVi polyaddition product and a biocide selected among active chlorine precursors, preferably among N-chloramines. The system may include functional additives (silicon fillers, alumina, paraffin, vaseline oil). As for the biocide, it can be provided with an antiseptic auxiliary adjuvant along with EDTA-type sequestering agents.

摘要： Silicone material crosslinkable into silicone elastomer by polyaddition reactions is described. A material is provided offering a compromise between the following characteristics: fluidity (in non-crosslinked state), hydrophilicity (in non-crosslinked or crossliked state) and high mechanical properties (in crosslinked state). The following materials are added to crosslinkable silicone material: (i) a reinforcing siliceous filler in the form of a suspension obtained by subjecting the filler to a treatment in two stages by an agent providing compatibility and by operating in the presence of a polyorganosiloxane with Si-alkenyl functions; and (ii) one or more non-ionic, ionic or amphoteric surfactants. Said silicone material is particularly useful for impressions, for example dental impressions and for making pads used in pad printing techniques.

摘要： Polymer particles which carry, implanted on their surface, amphiphilic molecules carrying ion-forming or reactive groups, and dispersions thereof, which may be prepared by contacting a latex of particles of a polymer having a glass transition temperature Tg greater than about 40.degree. C., with an amphophilic compound having an HLB greater than or equal to 10 and a molecular weight greater than or equal to 400. The contacting is carried out at a temperature within the glass transition zone of the polymer, until enmeshing of the polymer chains and of the hydrophobic blocks of the amphiphilic compound has been achieved. The hydrophilic block of the amphiphilic compound carries at least one ion-forming or reactive group. The particles and their dispersions are useful in biological applications.

摘要： The present invention relates more specifically to silicone compositions which can be crosslinked into an adhesive gel by hydrosilylation at room temperature, as well as to the gels thus obtained. One of the objects of the invention is to produce, easily and rapidly, gels having viscoelastic qualities, low-temperature physical stability and adhesion properties. The polyurethane may comprise t units of the formula (II) and q units of the formula ##STR2## in which R.sub.4 represents a monovalent or polyvalent organic radical and if R is monovalent, it may represent an alkyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl radical which may possess functional groups and preferably containing fewer than 15 carbon atoms, these radicals being preferably the methyl, ethyl, propyl, cyclohexyl, benzyl and formylmethyl radicals, while if R is polyvalent it may represent an alkylene or alkenylene or cycloalkylene or aralkylene radical and then links different atoms or different macromolecular chains, andX- is an anion, which anion may be replaced by another anion in accordance with the usual ion exchange techniques and is preferably an anion such as a halide (chloride, bromide or iodide), nitrate, sulphate, sulphite, phosphate, sulphonate and hydroxyl. The polymer may contain from 0.1 to 30 parts by weight of heparin per 100 parts of polymer. Processess for making the polymer; and shaped articles comprising the polymer are also included.
