摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for welding different materials which do not increase time and labor required for welding and which can restrain stress from being generated at a weld zone between Invar piping and austenitic stainless steel piping, and a piping structure for low temperature liquefied gas.
SOLUTION: Austenitic stainless steel members 1a, 3a, 3b and 6a and Invar members 20 and 22 are welded by using a welding material which fulfills the undermentioned formula: 0.6≤ρ≤1.2, ρ=(αs+αi)/2αw where αs, αi and αw denote the linear expansion coefficient of austenitic stainless steel, the linear expansion coefficient of Invar and the linear expansion coefficient of the welding material, respectively.

SOLUTION: Members consisting of Invar are mutually joined by conducting multi-layer welding of three layers or more through TIG welding method. When conducting the welding, the initial layer or the initial and 2nd layers are formed using a 1st similar-metal welding material containing more C and Nb than the member consisting of Invar, and the remaining layers are formed using a 2nd similar-metal welding material containing more C and Ta than the member consisting of Invar.
