摘要： An airfoil for a gas turbine engine has opposed pressure and suction sidewalls extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge. The airfoil includes an array of radially-spaced apart longitudinally-extending lands which define a plurality of trailing edge slots therebetween. Each of the trailing edge slots has an inlet in fluid communication with an interior of the airfoil and an exit in fluid communication with the trailing edge. At least one of the lands is tapered such that a width of the land measured in a radial direction decreases from the suction sidewall to the pressure sidewall.

摘要： An airfoil for a gas turbine engine has opposed pressure and suction sidewalls extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge. 摘要： A gas turbine engine turbine blade includes a hollow airfoil extending radially from a blade root to a radially outer airfoil tip. The airfoil includes an airfoil outer wall having transversely spaced apart pressure and suction side walls meeting along chordally spaced apart leading and trailing edges of the airfoil. A radially extending cooling air supply channel within the airfoil includes a bank of pins integral with and extending transversely between the pressure and suction side walls. The bank of the pins is tuned such that a natural frequency of the blade associated with an engine forced driving mode of the blade is sufficiently away from a steady state engine operating frequency to substantially avoid natural frequency resonance of the blade during steady state engine operation. The bank of the pins is tuned by locations of the pins within the cooling air supply channel.

The subsea device includes a frame, a blowout preventer connected to the frame and configured to close a bore that fluidly communicates with the subsea well, a pressure supply line connected to the frame and configured to provide a fluid under high pressure, and a control module connected to the frame and configured to receive the fluid from the pressure supply line. The control module includes a fixed part and a removable section. The fixed part has a valve manifold that houses a hydraulic activated valve. The removable section is configured to detachably attach to the fixed part and includes an electrically activated valve. The hydraulic activated valve of the fixed part are configured to be actuated by the electrically activated valve when the removable section is mated to the fixed part.

摘要： A pulse signal generator apparatus for producing an ultrafast, high-voltage pulser using a circumferentially illuminated, laser-switched radial transmission line transformer. The apparatus includes a radial transmission line transformer having a circular plate structure which can be coupled to a voltage source that becomes conductive upon the application thereto of a predetermined type of light energy. A laser switching device which is integral with the radial transmission line transformer and surrounds the circular plate structure, operates to switch an input electrical pulse of a predetermined peak voltage, injected at a circumferential edge of the circular plate structure onto a peripheral surface of the circular plate structure, to produce an output electrical pulse having a substantially higher peak voltage than the predetermined peak voltage of the input electrical pulse, at a center of the circular plate structure of the transmission line transformer. The apparatus also includes a laser for producing the predetermined type of light energy which illuminates the laser switching device.
