摘要： An electric device has a p-n diode, where the p-n diode is covered with a current modified layer (CML). With a resistance distribution of the CML, a current is decreased toward all directions from a point on a bonding pad between the CML and the p-n diode. Hence, a current is uniformly distributed on the CML by fine tuning the resistance distribution. Thus, an effectiveness of the electric device is improved.

摘要： The present invention discloses a wavelength-multiplex and space-multiplex holographic storage device, which comprises a storage medium, a plurality of signal light beams and at least one reference light beam. The signal light beams have different wavelengths and illuminate the storage medium. The reference light beam illuminates the storage medium and interferes with the signal light beams to form a plurality of interference patterns. The interference patterns are respectively stored on different-depth storage layers of the storage medium. The present invention not only has a high access rate but also has a large storage capacity.

摘要： A photovoltaic module with reduced size is provided. The photovoltaic module includes two wedged concentrator components and a solar cell structure. The first wedged concentrator component is positioned on the second wedged concentrator component. The solar cell structure is mounted on a quadrilateral lateral surface of the first wedged concentrator component for receiving light from the first wedged concentrator component through the quadrilateral lateral surface. The wedge structure of the concentrator components causes total internal reflection of the light on a top surface of the first wedged concentrator component when the light travels within the first wedged concentrator component from a bottom surface to the quadrilateral lateral surface. A diffractive optics element is provided in the second wedged concentrator component to contribute the total internal reflection in the first wedged concentrator component.

摘要： The subject invention relates to beam control prisms and the use of a beam control prism to modify the beam properties of light emitted from an edge emitting diode laser. The subject invention can utilize a beam control prism placed next to a diode laser bar. The subject beam control prism can have, for example, a curved surface and/or a high reflective coated surface for a diode laser wavelength. The curved surface can collimate the fast axis divergence and the mirror surface can change the beam direction. The subject curved surface beam control prisms can incorporate one or more features, such as parabolic reflecting surface, elliptical exit surface with flat reflecting surface, and a hyperbolic entrance surface with flat reflecting surface.
