    • A controller with battery recharge protective function is disclosed in this invention. The controller is used for protecting a battery module. When the battery module is in a protective state, a recharge protection circuit of the controller is activated. A charging current from a positive recharge terminal flows into one pin of the controller. Afterward, the charging current passes the recharge protection circuit, flows out through another pin of the controller, and then returns to a negative recharge terminal. Accordingly, the recharge protection circuit makes the charging current bypass the battery module, so as to prevent the battery module from being damaged.

    • A method for removing a member of a Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme (LCAS) from a sink includes: notifying, by the sink, a source that a member is in a REMOVE state after receiving a remove command; determining, by the sink, whether a notification response is received; if the notification response is not received, keeping the member in the REMOVE state, keeping reading payload from the member, and waiting for the notification response; if the notification response is received, moving the member to an IDLE state. Embodiments of the present invention also provide an apparatus and a state machine at the sink. A REMOVE state at the sink is added for each member. The method and the state machine provided by embodiments of the present invention guarantee a synchronous modification of the bandwidth at the source and the sink, thereby guaranteeing no hit on the traffic.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a node for discovering topology structure automatically in a Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) ring network. The method includes: when receiving a topology discovering message, determining, by a node in the MPLS ring network, whether the topology discovering message is sent by the node; if yes, updating information of topology structure of the MPLS ring network stored in the node according to information of topology structure of the MPLS ring network carried by the topology discovering message; otherwise, appending information of topology structure of the node to the topology discovering message and forwarding the topology discovering message to a next node. Thus, the network topology may not depend on the topology of the physical layer network and the speed of discovering topology structure of the ring network is increased.

    • Methods and systems for adapting and/or tuning feedforward control parameters in a plasma processing chamber. In embodiments, a dependent process parameter, such as a chamber component temperature, is controlled with a feedforward control algorithm based on one or more independent process parameters, such as RF power. A control algorithm may calculate steady-state deviation of the dependent parameter from a process recipe setpoint, estimate an amount by which an existing control gain coefficient is to be changed to better achieve the setpoint, associate the new control gain coefficient with the particular recipe operation, and store the new control gain coefficient for subsequent execution of the recipe operation. In embodiments, the amount by which a gain coefficient is to be changed is based on a model function derived from a lookup table associating gain coefficients with setpoints of the dependent process parameter and values of the independent process parameter.
