    • The invention is directed to a 3D image processing system and method. A depth generator generates a depth map according to a 2D image. A depth-image-based rendering (DIBR) unit generates at least one left image and at least one right image according to the depth map and the 2D image, the DIBR providing hole information and disparity values of pixels according to the depth map. An artifact detection unit locates an artifact pixel location according to the hole information and the disparity values. An artifact reduction unit reduces artifact at the artifact pixel location in the at least one left image and the at least one right image.

    • A method and system of hierarchical motion estimation include a reference frame and a current frame being downsampled, and the downsampled reference frame being stored. A coarse motion vector (MV) map is generated according to the downsampled reference frame and the downsampled current frame. Scan lines adjacent to a center scan line corresponding to a downsampled scan line in the downsampled reference frame are retrieved and then stored. A refined MV map is generated according to the coarse MV map, the current frame and the stored scan lines adjacent to the center scan line.

A motion estimation and motion compensation (MEMC) unit performs the motion estimation (ME) and the motion compensation (MC) on a reference frame and a current frame, thereby generating an MEMC generated frame and motion vector (MV) information. A depth controller partitions the reference frame into multiple regions according to the MV information, thereby generating depth information. A scene-mode depth generator generates a depth map according to the reference frame and the depth information. A depth-image-based rendering (DIBR) unit generates a scene-mode generated frame according to the reference frame and the depth map.

The flexible gaskets are integrally connected to each other by a connected section arranged therebetween. The flexible lenses are respectively fit to and received in the first and second flexible gaskets. The first and second frame clamps are respectively fit over the first and second flexible gaskets. The buckles are respectively mounted to openings defined in the frame clamps. A uses may change lenses of different light transmittances based on his or her needs and the resilient restoration of the frames and the lenses, after being bent, provides excellent water tightness therebetween so that difficulty of assembling and manufacturing costs of the lenses can be reduced.
