    • A transaction card includes a base member, an auxiliary member, and an account identifier. The base member defines a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a spiral cut extending through the base to define a spiral portion. The spiral portion is stretched to extend in a conic helical form in front of a portion of the first surface defined by a remainder of the base member. The auxiliary member is coupled to the spiral portion opposite the portion of the first surface defined by the remainder of the base member. The account identifier is fixedly connected to one of the base member and the auxiliary member. The account identifier links the transaction card to at least one of an account and a record and is machine readable by a point-of-sale terminal. Other cards, combinations and associated methods are also disclosed.

    • A transaction card includes a base member, an auxiliary member and an account identifier. The base member defines a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface and a slot extending therethrough. The auxiliary member includes a first section and a handle section and is coupled with the base member such that the first section is disposed on the first surface of the base member. The handle section extends from the first surface, through the slot and to the second surface of the base member such that movement of the handle section causes movement of the auxiliary member relative to the base member. The account identifier is included on one of the base member and the auxiliary member and links the transaction card to at least one of an account and a record.

    • A pipeline bend detector pig for measuring the changes in direction of a pipeline having a first pig body assembly with an imaginary longitudinal axis and spaced apart resilient cups for supporting the pig body assembly in a pipeline so that the axis thereof is at least approximately the axis of the pipeline and for impeding flow of fluid past the pig so that the pig is propelled by fluid flow through the pipeline, and a second pig body assembly also having an imaginary logitudinal axis and means for support thereof within a pipeline so that the axis thereof is at least approximately the axis of the pipeline, a universal joint connecting the front end of the second pig body assembly to the rear end of the first pig body assembly and an integrator plate and finger assembly with the first pig body assembly arranged so that the fingers are deflected upon the deflection of the internal wall of the pipeline to thereby deflect an integrator plate, an instrument responding to the deflection of the integrator plate, and cables connecting at least three of the fingers to points on the second pig body assembly spaced from the longitudinal axis so that as the axis of the second pig body is deflected at an angle relative to the axis of the first pig body, the cables pull on the fingers, deflecting the integrator plate and providing a record of the angular deflection of the second pig body relative to the first pig body which is indicative of a change of direction of the pipeline.

    • An automatic injector insertion station for inserting a fuel injector mounting end into a fuel rail cup includes a housing and an injector nest moveable relative to the housing. The nest includes first and second ends. The first end includes a support for supporting and guiding the injector, and is moveable between a preload position, wherein the fuel injector mounting end is adjacent the fuel rail cup, and an insertion position, wherein the mounting end and o-ring are mounted in the fuel rail cup. A compression spring is mounted in the housing and connected with the second end of the injector nest. A piston and cylinder arrangement is operable for compressing the compression spring to a loaded compressed position. The injector nest is moveable by the compression spring compressive force from the preload position to the insertion position to assemble the fuel injector and o-ring into said fuel rail cup through linear spring force, thus preventing damage to the o-ring.
