    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize strictness of temperature control, energy efficiency and reliability by introducing to an ordinary state when a temperature in a container falls within a predetermined range, and transferring a refrigerating system to an operation of a lower capacity if the system is capable of arriving at an allowable temperature. SOLUTION: If a box temperature Tbox is within a specific range of a desired box temperature Tboxset, an ordinary state operation mode is started (step 100), and a suction regulating valve is opened or closed depending upon a difference of the temperature Tbox and the desired temperature Tboxset. When a suction regulating valve is a predetermined minimum opening or below, a timer is started (step 102). When the timer elapses a predetermined time, a refrigerating system is transferred to a lower capacity mode (step 108). If the regulating valve is not closed to the minimum opening or below, whether the opening of the valve is larger than the maximum value or not is checked (step 104). In the case of yes, a capacity of the compressor is increased (step 106).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize the pressure of both chambers when two chambers are joined and communicate with a discharge opening by sealing two scroll compression chambers from the suction, and communicating two chambers by a pressure balance groove before the fluid in the chambers are joined and communicate with the discharge opening. SOLUTION: A pressure equalizing groove 31 is formed between a lap part 50 of a fixed scroll facing to the outside in the radial direction and a lap part 51 of a fixed scroll facing to the inside in the radial direction opposite to each other. The pressure equalizing groove 31 is mounted so that it communicates the chamber 33 with 35 through the end parts 38, 40 of the pressure equalizing groove 31 after the chambers 33, 35 are sealed from the suction before the fluid in the chambers 33, 35 are joined and communicate with a discharge opening 26. When the unbalance of the pressure exists between the chambers 33, 35, the end parts 38, 40 communicate with the chambers 33, 35 to equalize the pressure, and the pressure of the chambers 33, 35 are equalized when two chambers are joined and completely mixed with each other.
