SOLUTION: A step is formed slightly inward from a longitudinal end of the film on a contact surface with the film in a ceramic heater. The step is formed of protective glass for a heating body in the case of front surface heating, and the step is formed of such as a sliding layer formed on the front surface in the case of backside heating. The dust or sand is prevented from being further intruded therein and the inner surface of the film is prevented from being cut since the dust or sand is caught and stayed in gaps between the step and the film even if the dust or sand is intruded from the end of the film.
