According to the invention, the collecting-chamber openings of the multi-well analytical plate, generating largely reliable analytical results also at elevated temperatures and over a long period of time, are sealed with an optically clear sealing material, for example, clear plastic film, or a glass sheet. The adhesive for fixing the sealing material which covers the collecting-chamber openings is only applied to the contact area of the sealing material with the multi-well analytical plate and not to the area of the collecting-chamber opening. Neither the sealing material itself, nor the means of fixing to the multi-well analytical plate thereof, in particular, hot-melt adhesives impede the light flux from and to the samples for optical analytical determination.

摘要： A positioning aid for liquid handling devices with a horizontally movable holding device for adapter and microtitration plate is disclosed. The holding device has a flexible tube extending in a closed channel and compressed air can be applied to the tube. The channel has, at least in the area of sliding pins which are arranged so as to be pretensioned by springs, widened portions which widen in the opposite direction to that of the spring, so that the sliding pins remain in a rest position when the tube is in the pressureless state so as to enable manipulation of the adapter and microtitration plate without friction, but, when compressed air is applied, occupy a clamping position in such a way that the tube fills out the widened portions so that the sliding pins contact the microtitration plate without play and the microtitration plate, in turn, contacts the stops of the adapter which are located across from the sliding pins, and the adapter contacts the fixed stops of the holding device without play.

摘要： An arrangement for transporting microtitration plates in an automatic handling machine is disclosed comprising at least one linear-transport device on which a carriage, which has at least one place of deposit for a microtitration plate, is transported in a straight line, under automatic control, between two limit positions. A lifting device is included with vertically displaceable bolts by which the microtitration plates can be lifted off or deposited on the carriage. At least one rotary device is also included in which a rotary element which has at least one resting place for a microtitration plate can be moved, under automatic control, about a fixed rotation shaft. The rotary device is designed and arranged in such a way with respect to the linear-transport device that the resting place can be rotated between the place of deposit and the microtitration plate which has been lifted and is resting on the bolts, so that the surface centers of gravity of the place of deposit of the resting place and of the microtitration plate lie on a line which is parallel to the bolts.
