摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for forming a multi-fiber ferrule using a small hole method. SOLUTION: A guide block assembly (20) is provided which holds a fiber bore, forming pin and a guide pin bore forming pin in a mutually accurate relation, during forming of a ferrule to be used in a collective multi-fiber connecting method. The guide block assembly (20) is preferably provided with an upper part (28) and a lower part (30), both of which are provided with fiber bore grooves (34a, 34b) and guide pin bore grooves (32a, 32b) which are formed on the surface in a correspondence relation to each other. When the upper and the lower part are assembled, the fiber bore grooves and the guide pin bore grooves in the correspondence relation form the fiber bore (34), and the guide pin bore (32) respectively. The guide block assembly can also be provided with a separate part, that forms an additional bore together with the upper or the lower part.
