    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable liquid to be poured out from a pouring port of a bowl without trouble, by forming an attaching end so that the holding end of a handle to be neighboring the pouring part of a rim. SOLUTION: By holding a holding end 36, this scoop 30 is placed on a desired position. A bowl 34 is sunk into a liquid vessel to fill the bowl 34 up to a desired level, and then the scoop 30 is moved to a receiving side bowl 120, etc. The holding end 36 is placed near a user's body, and the front end 60 of the bowl 34 is placed apart from the user's body. Next, by tilting a shank 38 so as to move the holding end 36 toward the user's body, liquid can be poured out. The motion makes the bowl 34 tilted so that a pouring part 54 is moved downward and the front end 60 upward. Liquid in the bowl 34 positioned on the pouring part 54 is flowed out from the bowl 34 to the receiving side bowl 120. Further in detail, the liquid flows out from the pouring part 54 and passes through the passage in an attaching end 40.

    • A ladle 30 has a bowl portion 34 and a handle 32 which is in alignment with a pouring portion 54, such as a spout, on the rim of the bowl. The flow of liquid from the bowl portion 34 is unimpeded by the handle 32 which may have an attachment end 40 comprising an arch shaped member with two legs 44 and a passage 46 in between. Alternatively, the shank 80 of the handle 32 could be spaced from the body by attachment means comprising an arcuate shaped body (74, figure 5, 112, figure 6) with a first end (86, figure 5, 114, figure 6) attached to the handle 32 so that it is aligned above the pouring portion 54, and a second end (88, figure 5, 116, figure 6) attached to the bowl portion 34 at a point spaced from the pouring portion around the periphery of the bowl. In this embodiment the shank axis 84 of the handle 32 intersects the pouring direction axis 98 of the fluid. Preferably, the handle extends upwardly from a plane defined by the rim of the bowl at an angle of between 60‹ and 89‹. A seat (130, figure 8) may be formed on the underside of the bowl portion 34 to engage with a vessel receiving liquid from the ladle 30.
