    • A transformer includes a winding frame, a primary coil, an insulating cover, a secondary coil, and a core assembly. The winding frame has a winding portion formed with a first side portion and a second side portion oppositely. A plurality of first pins and second pins are disposed on the first and second side portions, respectively. The primary coil is wrapped around the winding portion of the winding frame and connected to the first pins. The insulating cover is fitted over the primary coil. The secondary coil is wrapped around the insulating cover and connected to the second pins. The core assembly is arranged on the winding frame. A transformer assembling method is also disclosed. The coil wrapping process for the transformer can be expedited and associated cost can be reduced.

    • A power conversion system with zero-voltage start-up mechanism and a zero-voltage start-up device are disclosed. The system includes a power conversion circuit, a power factor correction unit, a storage capacitor, a storage switching unit, and a zero-voltage detection module. The storage switching unit is serially connected with the storage capacitor, and particularly controlled by the zero-voltage detection module. The zero-voltage detection module detects a timing as an input voltage is at low level, and then outputs a control signal to turn on the storage switching unit. Therefore, the present invention assures that the power conversion system is turned on when the input voltage is at the low level, in order to suppress the system from a surge current.

    • An aluminum electrolytic capacitor includes a main body, two electric leads, and a metal set plate. The main body has a base and a plastic insulating film. The electric leads are located at one end of the base. The metal set plate is located at opposite end, with a connecting portion and a soldering portion. The connecting portion is located at the surface of the other end of the base opposite of the two electric leads. The soldering portion extends outside of the main body. The plastic insulating film wraps around the main body and the outer edge of the connecting portion. Thereby, the metal set plate is secured firmly with the main body. The soldering portion of the metal set plate is soldered onto the printed circuit board, allowing the aluminum electrolytic capacitor to be firmly attached to the printed circuit board.

    • A thermistor comprises a main body, two electric plugs, a metallic fixing piece, and a cover. The electric plugs are located on one end of the main body, and the metallic fixing piece is located on the side of the main body. The metallic fixing piece has a connecting portion up against one side of the main body, and a soldering portion located on the other end of the main body, opposite to the electric plugs and protruding from the main body.     • The present invention discloses a standby circuit. The standby circuit is coupled to an electric device for providing a standby voltage to the electric device when the electric device is not turned on. The standby circuit includes a light emitting module and an energy converter. The light emitting module receives an AC current and is driven by the AC current to generate light. The energy converter receives the light generated by the light emitting module and converts the light into the standby voltage. Therefore, the present invention can simplify the design of traditional standby circuit in a television.
