摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure continuous operations one by one by a large current lightening by opening the lid of a casing by the ignition of an electric igniter by an induced current, drooping a display cloth and changing over a changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:A continuous lightening display is provided with a induction coil 14 and a plurality of displays 2, 2a and 2b as opposed to the passage of a lightening surge current 12. When the lightening current flows in a support 11 and a magnetic field 13 is generated in surroundings, an induced current 15 is generated in the coil 14. This operates an electric igniter 3, a gas is produced and the lid 6 of a casing 5 and a display cloth 7 are discharged. At the same time, a changeover switch 4 is operated to connect the common terminal of the display 2 of a first stage and a normally-opened terminal to each other and the electric igniter 3a of the display 2a of a second stage are connected to each other, taking a stand-by condition. Receiving further lightening, an operation described above is sequentially repeated.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faulty position detecting system for overhead transmission line that can be heated to a fixed temperature made as high as possible and has a simple constitution and a long detecting distance. SOLUTION: A heater 4 is actuated by the output of a fault detector 3. The heater 4 is constituted of a heating element 41 and a heat storing body 42 and the body 42 is arranged between the heating element 41 and an overhead ground wire 45 and, at the same time, a mixed solution prepared by mixing a plurality of kinds of solutions with each other so that the boiling point of the mixed solution so set at a high temp, set exceeding the heat-resisting temperature of an optical fiber 44, is contained in the heat storing body 42. A faulty position detecting device 5 only measures the intensity distribution of the anti- Stokes' light or Stokes' light of Raman scattering light and detects a faulty position from the variation of the intensity distribution near the place to which the heater 4 is installed.
