摘要： An apparatus and a method for removing red tide are provided to mix surface water having high dissolved oxygen level with deep water to lower the level of dissolved oxygen in order to eliminate red tide. An apparatus for removing red tide includes a ship, a buoyancy plate(2), a plurality of bottom water pushing units(4), an auto-collecting member(6), and a main power source(8). The buoyancy plate(2) is installed both sides of the ship and floats on a water surface. The bottom water pushing unit(4) is installed in the lower portion of the buoyancy plate(2). The bottom water pushing unit(4) pushes bottom water downward the sea. The auto-collecting member(6) is installed near the bottom water pushing unit(4). The auto-collecting member(6) has an open front surface in the shape of an arc.
