    • The disclosure provides an emergency message transmission method and an electronic device implementing the method. The electronic device stores a reference voltage value and comprises a smoke assessing unit. The method includes steps: capturing air composition around the electronic device, assessing whether the air composition has changed, if the air composition has changed, detecting an electrical current of the smoke assessing unit, amplifying the electrical current and converting the amplified current to a voltage value, comparing the converted voltage value with the reference voltage value, judging whether the converted voltage value reaches the reference voltage value, and if the converted voltage value reaches the reference voltage value, outputting a signal including an emergency message.

    • A keyboard includes an input interface, a rotatable infrared emitter, a first counter, a second counter, an infrared receiver, and a processor. The rotatable infrared emitter emits infrared light across the input interface which represents a keyboard. The first counter starts a count at each beginning of the infrared light emission. The second counter starts a count when the infrared emitter rotates to reach a reference direction in each rotating period. The infrared receiver stops the counts of the first counter and the second counter when the infrared receiver receives infrared light reflected from an obstacle. The first counter defines a transmission time of the infrared light. The second counter defines a rotating time. The processor calculates a position of the obstacle on the input interface according to the transmission time, the rotating time, a rotating speed of the infrared emitter, and positions of the infrared emitter and infrared receiver.

The portable electronic device computes a similarity degree between the generated touch figure and the predetermined figure, and generates an alarm instruction to control an alarm unit to output an alarm signal if the computed similarity degree is greater than the predetermined value.

    • An image editing system includes a screen for displaying a plurality of continuous frames of images. A menu generating unit, connected with the screen, generates a visual menu on the screen when running the image editing system for prompting a user to implement a start operation. A display control unit responds to the start operation to stop receiving the next frame of the image and keeps the screen displaying the current frame of the image. As well as an image obtaining unit, responds to editing operations of the user on the current frame of the image to cut a section of the image from the current frame of the image.
