    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inhibiting the differentiation of a monocyte into a dendritic cell and an autoimmune disease therapeutic agent containing IVIg as an active ingredient.
      SOLUTION: The method of inhibiting the differentiation of a monocyte into a dendritic cell inhibits expression of CDla which takes part in the differentiation of a human monocyte into a premature dendritic cell and CD40, CD80, and CD49d which take part in the differentiation of the premature dendritic cell into a mature dendritic cell with the use of an immunoglobulin pharmaceutical formulation (IVIg) for intravenous injection. An inhibitor for the differentiation of a human monocyte into a dendritic cell contains IVIg as an active ingredient. The autoimmune disease therapeutic agent contains IVIg as an active ingredient.
