    • PURPOSE:To prevent an inside furnace temperature from decreasing as well as to prevent slags stream at its discharging exit port from clogging by a method wherein an ash hopper and a combustion furnace are connected with a return-tube path of combustion gas through an ari-blower, further the return tube path is equipped with a branch line, the second return tube path, which is connected newly to a upper side of the combustion furnace. CONSTITUTION:The combustion gas taking out from the ash hopper 2 is structurally returned to the inside furnace 1 by the use of air blower 21 through the return-tube path 23, and in the return-tube path a high pressure gas flow-meter 22 is provided. In discharging melted slags, which are produced in the furnace 1 due to a high temperature burning, from a slag discharging exit port 17, the both gas and slags are taking out simaltaneously aiming at maintaining smooth fluidity andquantatively discharge of the slags. By returning the combustion gas into the furnace 1, the decrease in temperature inside of the furnace is prevented. Since the taking out gas are wholly returned to the furnace 1, its thermal efficiency is improved. Besides, no impacts is given to the burning condition of the furnace with a withdrawal of the combustion gas, therefore, combustion is stabilized, further a large amount gas are in controllable condition, therefore, it is made possible to maintain better fluidity of slags as well as to incrase quantative discharge of glags.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal gasifying furnace keeping the feed rate of char constant and simplifying the constitution.
      SOLUTION: The coal gasifying furnace 2 is designed to feed recovered unburned char into the interior of a gasifying furnace 1 and burning the char. The coal gasifying furnace 2 is characterized as follows. A decompression apparatus 21 for reducing the pressure in a char transfer line and a char storage hopper 17 storing the char passing through the decompression apparatus 21, metering the char and feeding a required amount of the char into the interior of the furnace are installed in the char transfer line 19 for the char.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for regeneration of a filter of a coal gasifier which enables complete ashing of char captured with the filter in a safe state by controlling the concentration of oxygen of the ashing gas and the temperature of the filter always at appropriate values and reduction of the time for regeneration of the filter.
      SOLUTION: The filter-regenerating method comprises; replacing the inside atmosphere of the filter with an inert gas of a concentration of oxygen of lower than 5%; heating the filter to a target temperature of 400-450°C; and charging an ashing gas of a target concentration of oxygen of 5-15 vol.% to ash the char within the filter, in a filter regeneration means of the coal gasifier arranging the filter for capturing char or unburned matters in exhaust gas in a passage of exhaust gas from an exhaust gas source including a coal gasifying furnace.
