摘要： An improved curb section (10) of precast concrete subdivided into modules (10a, 10b, 10c...) by transverse grooves (24) which give the appearance of shorter blocks and provide for fracturing the curb section (10) at those locations. Each module (10a, 10b, 10c...) of the curb section (10) has a rearward T-shaped projection (26). L-shaped projection (28) is formed at each end module (10a, 10c...) of the curb section (10) in proximity to the end face (20) so that L-shaped projections (28) of adjacent curb section (10) form a projection (27) equivalent to a T-shaped projection (26). T-shaped projections (26) and an adjacent pair (27) of L-shaped projections (28) are anchored by sliding a channel-shaped anchor element (30) which engages the projections (26, 27...) and has a V-shaped lower end (42) to penetrate the pavement or ground. The modules (10a, 10b, 10c...) of the curb section (10) can be of rectangular shape (10a, 10b, 10c...) or tapered (110a, 210a, 310a...) thereby defining rectilinear elongated curb sections (10) or curved elongated curb sections (110, 210, 310...) which can be fastened adjacent to one another.

摘要： Disclosed is an economical and effective way of producing a modular retaining wall, using only blocks which in and of themselves are of insufficient thickness to function as retaining wall blocks. The modular wall includes backer blocks and facing blocks which are connected by connectors in a back to back, spaced apart arrangement, thereby forming a hollow retaining wall. The hollow wall can be filled with loose filler material to increase the mass and retaining capacity of the wall. Further disclosed are wall components and a wall kit for a modular retaining wall. A double sided decorative wall is also disclosed. The modular wall system allows for the construction of retaining walls and freestanding, double sided, decorative walls forming both straight and curved walls.

摘要： An improved curb section of a predetermined length sub-divided into modules by transverse grooves which give the appearance of shorter blocks and provide for fracturing the curb section at those locations. Each module of the curb section includes a rearward fastening projection having a vertical bore for passing a nail to engage the curb section to pavement or other base. Such linear mold sections are all that are required when a curve is dictated. The mold sections are sub-divided into the modules to form the curve. A method of forming the curb section is provided which includes an open frame moving vertically against a platform and mold shoes for pressing down on the concrete when poured in the mold frame, including plugs for forming the tops of the fastening projections. The plugs are removed after the mold frame is lifted, and then the shoes are removed to leave the formed curb sections on the bottom wall.
