In an embodiment, a method comprises generating a card key using the master key and the identification number, generating a first session key using the card key and a first portion of the counter and a second session key using the card key and a second portion of the counter, generating a cryptographic result including the counter using one or more cryptographic algorithms and the card key, generating a cryptogram using the first session key, the cryptogram including the cryptographic result and the identification number, encrypting the cryptogram using the second session key, and transmitting the encrypted cryptogram and the cryptographic result.

If the comparison reveals changes or drifts that are within a predetermined threshold, then the persistence of the authentication is allowed.

The contactless card may generate transaction data comprising: indications of an account number and an expiration date of the contactless card, and the indication of the preauthorization. The contactless card may transmit the transaction data to the POS device as payment for the transaction. The server may authorize payment for the transaction using at least a portion of the transaction data based at least in part on identifying the indication of the preauthorization in the transaction data.

A server may assign, in a database, an expected card identifier to a contactless card, the contactless card associated with an account. The server may receive, from a client device, a request comprising a uniform resource locator (URL), a parameter of the URL comprising a card identifier, wherein the URL is transmitted by the contactless card to the client device. The server may extract the card identifier from the URL and compare the extracted card identifier to the expected card identifier in the database. The server may determine, based on the comparison, that the extracted card identifier matches the expected card identifier. The server may authenticate the request based on the extracted card identifier matching the expected card identifier, and transmit, to the client device, an indication specifying that the request was authenticated.

摘要： Methods and systems for a browser extension system are disclosed. In some embodiments, a browser extension server includes a communication device configured to communicate with a first computing device executing a browser extension application and a web browser application and a second computing device executing an authentication application. The browser extension server further includes a memory storing instructions, and a processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include receiving from the first computing device an indication of a financial service account associated with the first computing device, detecting a payment field in a web page provided by the computing device through the web browser application and, in response, generating a secure token mapped to the financial service account. The operations may further include sending the second computing device an authentication request, receiving an authentication response, and populating the payment field with the secure token.
