    • PURPOSE:To obtain an easy and accurate transilluminating device with simple constitution, by using a fluorescent lamp to adjust the focus and determine the exposure and obtaining a proper quantity of the exposure light for strobe photography. CONSTITUTION:Such aperture value of a photographic lens is determined that the quantity of exposure light on the image plane is proper for a desired film sensitivity in accordance with the length from a strobe light emitting tube 11 to an object on a transparent set plate 6, the guide number of the strobe, etc. When this aperture value is set, a required shutter speed for the proper quantity of exposure light is obtained by the TTL photometry. Next, when fluorescent lamps 9 and 10 are lit and a camera 1 is focused to the object by the irradiated light through a light diffusing plate 7, the proper shutter speed due to the TTL photometry is different from a required shutter speed in accordance with the F value, the magnification, etc. When the aperture value is so adjusted that these shutter speed coincides with each other, fluorescent lamps are extinguished to obtain a proper quantity of exposure light due to lighting of the light emitting tube 11, and thus, an easy and accurate transilluminating device with simple constitution is obtained where the TTL photometric device is used.

    • PURPOSE:To make sharp imprinting of data possible despite the change in a background color by controlling exposure for imprinting according to the difference between the wavelength of the set background color and the wavelength of a light source for data imprinting. CONSTITUTION:When a dial for setting a background color is operated, the resistance values of variable resistors R1, R2 change according to the kinds of films and the background colors, and the charging time constant of a capacitor C changes. Then the charging voltage of the capacitor C attains a prescribed value and the time since a light source circuit 13 for data imprinting is lighted until said circuit is shut off is controlled with a control circuit 14 for extinguishing. As the difference between the wavelength of the set background color and the wavelength of the light source for imprinting is smaller, the exposure time is longer. Thus data is imprinted always sharply even when the background color changes.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a failure in exposure by eliminating erroneous handling such as to attach a TTL dimming adapter to close-up equipment in close-up photography, by attaching the TTL dimming adaptter, coupled directly with an electric flash, directly to a camera body. CONSTITUTION:A TTL dimming adapter 4 is mounted on the lens mounting surface of a camera 1 through an attachment ring 15, and a leg 7 provided at its upper part is slipped in the accessory shoe 6 of the camera. In the adapter 4, a half-mirror 9 is provided as slanted to guide part of light from an object to a photodetecting element 5 provided at the upper part. The photodetecting element 5 is connected to the terminal of a control circuit at the side of an electric flash 2 through lead wires 12 and 13 and terminals 10 and 11. On the front surface of the adapter 4, a lens mount 16 is provided, and a photographic lens is mounted there. When a close-up equipment is used, the close-up equipment is attached to the front surface of the adapter 4, and the lens is further attached to its front surface. Thus, a failure in exposure is prevented.
