    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure for a concrete building capable of permitting easy execution of the work in a short period of time, offering good appearance of the building after the work, and also achieving effective reinforcement by using small quantity of members and small amounts of materials, which can be applied also to an existing building such as a multiple dwelling house wherein relatively narrow target surfaces to be reinforced are present intermittently.
      SOLUTION: A reinforcing structure 1 comprises a panel 6 made of a hydraulic composition containing fibers which is located between a pair of concrete beams and installed oppositely to the plane of a concrete wall 4 with a certain distance held to the face of the concrete wall 4; a joining portion 7 hardened from a grout material which is located between the concrete wall 4 and the panel 6; anchor members 8 embedded through the concrete wall 4 and the joining portion 7; and anchor members 9 embedded through the panels 6 and the joining portion 7.

      SOLUTION: As for the metallic fiber 1, its diameter is ≤0.3 mm, its tensile strength is 1.0-3.5 GPa and its shape is made spiral. The spiral shape is defined so that it has a cycle B >1.0 time and ≤5.0 times the fiber length and has an amplitude A 0.5-3.0 times the fiber diameter. The aspect ratio of the metallic fiber 1 is 20-200.
