    • In the fiber and in any fiber (F), a reflecting surface (F1) is created that is generically tilted with respect to the main propagation path (T1) of the optical radiation in said fiber, so as to originate by reflection an additional propagation path (T2) that is generically deflected with respect to said main propagation path (T1). In a mounting support (2) common to the fiber (F) and the related opto-electronic component (O), a groove is made along an external face (2a) so as to accomodate the optical fiber (F) in a tight condition. The groove (3) is then covered through a laminar cover, that is transparent to the radiation and has a flat surface (4a). The fiber (F) is inserted into said groove in order that said deflected propagation path (T2) passes through said cover (4) of material transparent to the radiation, and the opto-electronic component (O) is mounted on said cover (4) in alignment with said deflected propagation path (T2).

    • An optical wavelength control system for an optical source includes a beamsplitter arrangement for propagating radiation from the source over two paths. First and second photodetectors are arranged each in a respective one of said two propagation paths, while a wavelength selective optical filter is interposed in the propagation path from the source to the first photodetector. The first and second photodetectors generate photocurrents indicative of the possible displacement of the actual wavelength of the radiation from said source with respect to a reference wavelength and the power emitted by the optical source, respectively. The system includes a support bench extending in a given plane and the beamsplitter arrangement is arranged to split the radiation from said source towards the photodetectors in a direction substantially perpendicular to the given plane of the support bench.

    • An optical wavelength control system for an optical source, includes: a beam splitter arrangement for propagating radiation from the source over two paths, first and second photodetectors, each arranged at a respective one of the two propagation paths, a wavelength selective optical filter affecting propagation of said radiation over the propagation path to the first photodetector, whereby the first and second photodetectors are adapted to generate photocurrents indicative of the possible displacement of the actual wavelength of the radiation from the source with respect to a reference wavelength and the power emitted by the optical source, respectively. The wavelength selective optical filter is e.g. an interference filter or an etalon filter arranged to receive reflected radiation from the beam splitter arrangement.
