摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoking article comprising a first part containing a smokable material and a second part containing an end that is movable relative to the first part in which the second part contains a filter and the characteristics of the filter of the smoking article are determined by the position of the first part relative to the second part.SOLUTION: The smoking article 50 comprises a smokable material and a sleeve 53 configured to be movable relative to the smokable material. The filter 54 is connected to the sleeve. The smoking article is configured such that the position of the sleeve 53 relative to the smokable material determines a property of the filter 54. A cigarette unit is moved so that the filter 54 is separated from the end of the sleeve to form a hollow 56. Air is passed from the circumference of extension sections 58 and 59 or through them to form alternate flow channels for changing effective characteristics of the filter.
