摘要： The invention provides a stud featuring not only high edge effect improving braking and acceleration performance, but also high durability of the pin section that improves anti-stud-loss performance and has greater strength capable of reducing damage to the pin section and a studdable tire fitted with such studs. The pin section (3) of the stud (1) according to this invention has a pair of straight edge portions (31, 32) defined by peripheral edges of one end surface along the central axis, or peripheral profile lines in the cross section orthogonal to the central axis, opposite each other with the central axis therebetween, a pair of curved edge portions (33, 34) extending from the ends of the pair of straight edge portions and outwardly bulging opposite each other, and curved border edge portions (35, 36, 37, 38), which are border portions between the straight edge portions and the curved edge portions outwardly bulging away from the central axis.
