    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the suction capacity of a peristaltic pump by minimizing the heat generated due to friction between a pressuring element and a hose and the hysteresis thereof and providing a certain degree of rigidity to the hose.
      SOLUTION: This peristaltic pump 1 for circulation comprises an elastically deformable hose 4 placed against the pressuring surface 3. The hose has a medium inlet 6 and a medium outlet 7. The pressuring elements 9, 10 are moved along the hose. While the portions of the hose brought into contact with the pressuring elements are pressed against portions of the pressuring surface, the portions of the hose are locally compressed and closed. A medium is sucked therein through the medium inlet, and discharged therefrom through the medium outlet under a pressure. The pump has a hollow formed in the pump housing 2, and a boundary formed on the pressuring surface of the hollow. A pressuring means with the hose and the pressuring elements is stored in the hollow. The hollow is closed and filled up with a filling medium.
