摘要： A user equipment (UE) is configured to perform a method for controlling synchronization with a secondary cell (SCell). The method includes receiving a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order from an eNodeB associated with an SCell. The method also includes, in response to receiving the PDCCH order, transitioning from a first state where the UE considers the SCell in sync for an uplink transmission to a second state where the UE considers the SCell out of sync for the uplink transmission.

摘要： An eNodeB is configured to perform a method for a random access procedure in an LTE-Advanced system. The method includes receiving from a user equipment a random access preamble message on a physical random access channel (PRACH) on a first cell, the PRACH associated with a random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI). The method also includes transmitting to the user equipment a random access response (RAR) message on a second cell. At least one of the RAR message and the RA-RNTI includes information configured to allow the user equipment to identify a target Timing Advance Group (TAG) or cell associated with the RAR message.

The wireless network comprises a macro-base station (BS) operable to communicate with the mobile station and a micro-base station (BS) in a coverage area associated with the macro-BS. In response, the micro-BS transmits to the macro-BS PCFICH information associated with the micro-BS. 摘要： A base station in a heterogeneous network is configured to communicate with a plurality of base stations via a backhaul link and configured to communicate with a plurality of subscriber stations. The base station includes a transmit path configured to transmit data, reference signals, synchronization signals and control elements to at least one of the plurality of subscriber stations. The base station also includes processing circuitry configured to map primary synchronization signals (PSS) and secondary synchronization signals (SSS) onto each of a carrier of a first carrier type and a carrier of a second carrier type. The PSS and SSS on the second carrier type are mapped onto different time locations than in the first carrier type. In addition, the PSS/SSS are mapped onto consecutive resource elements (REs) on each of the carrier of the first type and the carrier of the second type.
