    • A dual-band wideband local oscillation signal generator includes an oscillation unit, a division unit, a poly phase filter (PPF), a switch unit, and a single side band (SSB) mixer. The oscillation unit is configured to generate a positive in-phase (IP) signal, a negative in-phase (IN) signal, a negative quadrature-phase (QN) signal, and a positive quadrature-phase (QP) signal. The division unit is configured to divide frequencies of the IP signal and the IN signal and generate an RF signal. The PPF is configured to receive the IP signal and the IN signals inputted to the division unit, and generate an LO IP signal, an LO IN signal, an LO QP signal, and an LO QN signal. The switch unit is configured to receive the generated LO signals and select a high band frequency signal or a low band frequency signal.

    • Provided is controlled-gain wideband feedback low-noise amplifier. The controlled-gain wideband feedback low-noise amplifier includes: a feedback amplifier configured to isolate an input signal and an output signal obtained by amplifying the input signal, feed back the output signal to the input signal to amplify wideband input signals, resonate a low-frequency band signal among the wideband input signals to amplify the low-frequency band signal among the wideband input signals, and be switched in accordance with a control signal to control an amplification gain of the low-frequency band signal among the wideband input signals; and a cascode amplifier configured to amplify a high-frequency band signal among the wideband signals inputted from the feedback amplifier, and be switched in accordance with a control signal to control an amplification gain of the high-frequency band signal among the wideband signals.

    • Provided is a differential cascode voltage-controlled oscillator that can reduce a phase noise by the use of a quality factor enhancement technique with negative conductance and can mitigate a ground-caused noise effect by the use of a cascode connection technique. The differential cascode voltage-controlled oscillator includes an AC signal generator, and first through fourth cascode amplifiers. The AC signal generator generates an AC signal with a certain frequency according to a control voltage. The first cascode amplifier is connected in a cascode configuration, and amplifies the AC signal to output the resulting signal to a first output terminal. The second cascode amplifier is connected in a cascode configuration and connected to the first cascode amplifier in a cross-coupled configuration, to amplify the AC signal to output the resulting signal to a second output terminal. The third cascode amplifier is connected in a cascode configuration to amplify the AC signal to output the resulting signal to the first output terminal. The fourth cascode amplifier is connected in a cascode configuration and connected to the third cascode amplifier in a cross-coupled configuration, to amplify the AC signal to output the resulting signal to the second output terminal. Herein, the first and second cascode amplifiers and the third and fourth cascode amplifiers are symmetrically connected to differentially amplify the AC signal.

The apparatus includes: a frequency comparing unit for calculating a first square value and a second square value, and comparing a first reference value with the first and the second square values; a frequency adjusting unit for adjusting the frequency characteristic to range the first reference value between the first square value and the second square value; a Q factor comparing unit for calculating a third square value, and comparing a second and a third reference values with the third square value; a control unit for activating the Q factor comparing unit when the frequency characteristic is completely adjusted; and a Q factor adjusting unit for adjusting the Q factor to range the third square value between the second reference value and the third reference value.
