摘要： The present invention concerns a ballistic protection against objects such as projectiles from fire arms, alternatively scatter from for example hand grenades. The protection comprises an enclosure (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9) adapted so that the object (10) can penetrate the enclosure (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9) in at least one area (2); at least one intermediate layer (3) comprising granules (27) arranged within the enclosure (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9), which intermediate layer (3) and enclosure (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9) are arranged to decelerate said object (10). The invention is further characterized in that: the granules (27) are movable arranged with respect to each other; the space in the intermediate layer (3) that is not occupied by granules (27) is filled by a gas medium to enable contact between adjacent granules (27); the granules (27) have mechanical properties so that a granule (27) is crushed and spread in the intermediate layer (3) when it is hit by an object (10), at the same time as adjacent granules (27) are subjected to impulses with a subsequent energy dissipation so that the object and fragments thereof remains in the protection with a reduced risk for ricochets.

摘要： In an apparatus for dividing a suspension of fibrous cellulose pulp into a plurality of portions in a closed housing having multiple inlets and outlets, the present invention suggests that the closed housing is divided into two chambers, each provided with at least one inlet and at least one outlet, and that in the first chamber a separating device is arranged, rotating at high speed, to separate undesired parts from the suspension via an outlet, the inlet of the second chamber comprising an opening arranged between the first chamber and the second chamber to transfer the suspension which has been substantially freed from undesired parts. Furthermore in the second chamber a rotor provided with blades is arranged, the rotor being connected to the separating device in the first chamber, the separating device and rotor being driven by a common shaft, and a screening device cooperating with the rotor, to divide the suspension into different fractions which leave the second chamber by individual outlets.

摘要： An apparatus for determining the depth position of venous thrombi in the lower extremities utilizes a unique property in .sup.125 I. This resides in the fact that in approximately half of all disintegrations, two photons are emitted simultaneously. These two coincident photons have, like separately emitted photons, an energy of approximately 28 keV. A scintillation detector perceives the coincidently emitted photons as one photon of an energy of 56 keV. The quotient between the number of separately emitted photons and the number of coincident photons may thus be determined. This quotient constitutes a parameter which is greatly dependent on the distance between the detector and the source of radiation, whereby there is obtained a possibility of determining the depth of the thrombus.
