The UV-absorbing moiety can be attached sufficiently closely to the antioxidant moiety to enhance the stability of the antioxidant in an environment in which photooxidation can occur. In one embodiment, the UV-absorbing moiety is attached to the molecule to be juxtapositioned to the antioxidant moiety.
