    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift register unit and a gate driving device for a liquid crystal display for reducing power consumption of the shift register unit and reducing power consumption of the gate driving device for the liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: The shift register unit is constructed by connecting a drain of the seventh thin film transistor, and a gate and drain of the ninth thin film transistor with an input terminal of the second clock signal based on a conventional configuration consisting of 12 transistors and one capacitor so that a leak current is not generated among the seventh thin film transistor, eighth thin film transistor, ninth thin film transistor, and tenth thin film transistor for reducing power consumption of the shift register unit when the shift register unit outputs a high level signal.
