    • An electrical connector assembly includes a first conductive member and a second conductive member. The first conductive member includes a first channel portion extending from a first wedge portion, with the first channel portion configured to receive a first conductor therein. The first conductive member includes a jaw movably coupled to the first channel portion and being positioned between the first channel portion and the first wedge portion. The second conductive member includes a second channel portion extending from a second wedge portion where the second channel portion configured to receive a second conductor. The first wedge portion and the second wedge portion are assembled such that the second wedge portion engages the jaw and moves the jaw to the closed position. The jaw engages the first conductor in the closed position. Optionally, the first channel portion may have a contoured shape.

    • An electrical circuit assembly includes a housing. A connector member is attached to and extends through an opening in a wall of the housing. The connector member has a contact member on an end thereof outside the housing and a longitudinally extending bore therein extending towards and having an opening into the housing. The wall may have substantially no cracks therein in a region proximate the opening. A pin is provided having a first end positioned within the bore and a second end extending from the opening of the bore. A portion of the connector member around the first end of the pin is collapsed to contact and retain the pin within the bore and to contact an inner surface of the wall to retain the connector member within the wall. Methods and connector members are also provided.

    • A connector assembly for joining bare or insulated conductors includes a first member and a second member which cooperate to act as clamps. The first member has two beams connected by a body and tabs extending from the center of the body substantially parallel to the two beams. The distal end of the beams each have a receptacle for receiving a conductor. The cross-section of the first member may be Sigma- or E-shaped. The second member has two contact planes, each facing a receptacle, and has a body facing surface that complements the shape of the inner surface of the body that it engages, including a groove for receiving the tabs. The second member is guided by the tabs of the first member when moved by operation of a fastener from an unloaded position, where the second member engages the body, to a loaded position in which the second member is pushed away from the body and holds the conductors securely in place in the receptacles. This connector assembly is adaptable for hot stick applications.

    • A wave gripping core sleeve for containing compression or crimping energy in bare conductor transmission power lines in full tension joints or dead end joints. The wave gripping core sleeve includes a plurality of interlocking members having a first end and a second end with a groove adjacent at least one of the ends. The first side of each interlocking member is engaged with the second side of an adjacent interlocking member. At least one resilient member wraps around the circumference of the interlocking members and is received in a channel formed by the aligned grooves. The interlocking members include a first set of ribs to engage the conductor in a first direction and a second set of ribs to engage the conductor in a second direction, opposite from the first direction.
