    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production apparatus which can suppress the fluctuation of the steam amount supplied to a reformer.
      SOLUTION: The hydrogen production apparatus has a reforming catalyst layer 1 for generating a reformed gas containing hydrogen by reacting a hydrocarbon-based fuel and steam, and is provided with the reformer 3 having a raw material supplying chamber 7, into which the hydrocarbon-based fuel and steam being supplied to the reforming catalyst layer 1 are introduced, at the bottom part and a steam generator 23 for supplying steam to the raw material supplying chamber 7, wherein a net-like material 42 is formed into a cylindrical shape and thermally bonded to the inner surface of the evaporation pipe passage 33 of the steam generator 23, thereby, the film boiling of water is suppressed, the generation of steam is made stable, and the fluctuation of the amount of steam supplied to the raw material supplying chamber 7 provided at the bottom part of the reformer 3 can be suppressed.
