摘要： The invention relates to a device and to a method for softening untreated water having at least one first and one second softening column (1, 2) containing a depleting and regeneratable water treatment agent, a supply line (3) for introducing untreated water in the softening columns (1, 2), and a removal line (4) for the removal of softened water from the softening columns (1, 2), wherein one softening column (1, 2) may be connected to the supply line in an alternating fashion (3) via actuating means (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d), while the other softening column (1, 2) may be disconnected from the supply line (3) by the actuating means (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d). In view of the object of reducing or preventing a decline in the quality of the softened water due to stagnation, said device and method are characterized by a control mechanism (5) that detects the degree of depletion of the water treatment agent in each softening column (1, 2) and connects the supply line (3) to either the first or the second softening column (1, 2) depending on the degree of depletion such that the water treatment agents are gradually reduced in an alternating fashion.

摘要： The assembly to soften raw water has two softening columns (1,2) containing an exhaustive and regenerating water treatment agent. One column is linked to the inflow pipe (3) through valves (5a-5d) which also disconnect the flow to the other column. A control (5) establishes the rate of exhaustion of the treatment agent in the columns to determine which of them should take the raw water inflow. The treatment agent is exhausted in stages alternately in the columns. The control is linked to a flow meter (6) to register the flow volumes. The control also sets the regeneration of the treatment agent.

摘要： The lift of the displacement element (16) is controlled in preset steps by geared stepping motor (12,10) assisted by a microprocessor unit (11) to operate the steps of the motor. These steps are provided by a given pulse train at prescribed pressure, using step pulse interval and count to control the metered outflow. The pulse trains retain a constant count during the pressure lift of the displacer (16), only prolonging the pulse trains on reaching pressure lift dead centre by means of an instantaneously switched total filling stroke. Displacement is by means of an ethylene-propylene elastomer displacer (16) and a cam disc (30) and lift tappet (34) which transmits the lift motion to the displacer. The cam has three allocated periphery discs with preferably steep ascending and shallow descending cam paths, and the tappet (34) is forced radially onto the cam disc off a return spring (48).
