    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compacting a vibration structure for reciprocally moving a spool. SOLUTION: The operation structure 104 attached to a frame 102 of a fishing reel 100 has a fishline-winding spool 146, a bail assembly 128, a driving means 148 and the vibration structure 156. The fishline 142 is wound on the spool 146 by rotating the bail assembly 128 around the first axis line 110 by the operation of the driving means 148. The vibration structure 156 is driven by the operation of the driving means 148, and reciprocally moves the spool 146. The vibration structure 156 has the first gear element 158 and the second gear element 160, and the first gear element 158 is rotatably driven around the second axis line 152 crossing the first axis line 110 by the operation of the driving means 148. The second gear element 160 has the first line 164 of teeth, and the second line 166 of the teeth, and the first gear element 158 alternatively engages with the first line 164 of the teeth and the second line 166 of the teeth.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel that has a more reduced weight and permits a much longer throw of fishing line. SOLUTION: This is a rotatable spool 12 for fishing line for a fishing reel and the spool 12 has a line-winding face 66 that defines the rotation axis 56. The face 66 is extended outside in the radial direction and its extended part makes the boundary to the fishing line wound up to the spool 12 in the axis direction. In addition, the extended part of the face 66 ends at an outer rim 64 that is away from the rotation axis 56 by radius R. The outer rim 64 extends from the line-winding face 66 toward the outside in the axis direction and ends at a first annular face 74 at an interval from the face 66 outward in the axis direction. A weight 80 of a flywheel type extends from the outer rim 64 inward in the radial direction and ends at a radius R2 from the axis 56 (55% to 85% of R). The weight 80 extends from the line-winding face 66 outward in the radial direction and ends at a second annular face 82 which is away by a distance X (0 to 5% of R) from the first annular face 74 inward in the axis direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve trigger operability in a fishing-reel rotor mechanism comprising a rotor, a bail part and a trigger. SOLUTION: This rotor mechanism 12 for a fishing reel comprises a rotor 16, a bail part 14 and a trigger 78. The rotor 16 has the first shaft line 18 as the shaft line of rotation, and it has the front end and the rear end separated from each other in the shaft line direction. The bail part 14 can change a relative position between a line casting position and a rewinding position against the rotor 16, and the bail part 14 has the first bail arm 42 which can pivot around the second shaft line when the bail part 14 moves between the line casting position and the rewinding position. The trigger 78 can perform relative motion against the rotor 16 around the third axis line 84 between the ordinary position and a working position, and the third shaft line 84 is located in front of the second shaft line 58. The shifting of the trigger 78 from the ordinary position to the working position allows the bail part 14 to move from the rewind position to the line casting position.
