摘要： The invention relates to a housing 1 for a micro-irrigation emitter which freely expels unfiltered turbid fluids containing suspended particulate matter, for the irrigation of plants. The housing comprises a thin-walled invert dished shape having a bottommost outer rim (2 figure 2) which rests upon the ground surface. Inboard from the rim the surface is solid and rises gently towards middle portion (4 figure 2) which rises up sharply to form a perforated domed surface within which an emitter 16 is secured. The invert shape ensures that the emitter is physically protected from above and that fluids drain out from below in their entirety. The ventilated portion 7 facilitates the free passage of air, water and water vapour. The combination of the outer solid surface and an internal impervious curtain wall 11 creates at least one air pocket (12 figure 2) to provide a degree of buoyancy for the housing. An irrigation supply hose 15 passes through the housing wall and is connected to the emitter and acts as a flexible tether or mooring enabling the housing to float on any accumulated slurry. A later embodiment relates to a method of employing said housing.

摘要： A flow control device for locating in a vessel to control the level of a liquid comprises a housing 1 defining a primary chamber 5, and a liquid supply aperture 11 at an upper portion. A float 15 is located within the primary chamber 5 and has a through bore 16 therein for flow of liquid. A fluid conduit 13 communicates between the liquid supply aperture 11 and the through bore 16 in the float 15. The fluid conduit 13 comprises a flexible tube which in an extended state has a substantially open through bore when the float 15 is in the down position, and assumes a kinked state with a substantially occluded through bore when the float 15 is in the up position.

摘要： Flowable preparation occupies a space (7) within the body (1) between the discharge part (4) and a disc-shaped mass (8) of material inert to the flowable preparation. A tee-adaptor (22) couples the discharge port (4) with the member (21) and the arms of the adaptor (22) permit a screw-driver to be inserted into the member (21) so as to seal the member (21) in the hole (40). After removal of the screw-driver a closure plug (25) is applied to prevent escape of the flowable preparation.

摘要： A portable combined keyboard platform and document holder comprises a ramp 1 and a level platform 10, both partially interrupted by slot 8, and both having side ribs 6, 6a. The ramp is supported by flange 12. In this orientation (Figure 1), a keyboard may be placed on ribs 6, 6a thus allowing documents to be stored underneath. The keyboard itself may be stored under the device when not in use. The device may also be inverted (Figure 2) and a keyboard stored between the flange 12 and intermediate rib 4, whereupon documents may be placed over the flange without touching the keys, or between said rib and the opposite end of the support. The device may also function simply as a document support by using flange 12 as a base portion (diagram not shown) and be hooked on the edge of a desk for storage by flange 12.
