摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix commutator pieces to an insulator by forming fixing means as interrupted dovetailed molding sections extended in the axial direction of the commutator pieces when the commutator pieces of a commutator ring molded with a belt-like material are fixed to the insulator. SOLUTION: Many L-shaped commutators 12 each having a long leg 14 and a short leg 16 are manufactured with a belt-like material, and a commutator ring 10 is formed with fixing means 18. The fixing means 18 having dovetailed molding sections 22 extended to the inside in the radial direction on the cross section, and they are integrally formed with the long legs 14 of the commutator pieces 12. Individual commutator pieces 12 are arranged at intervals, intermediate chambers 20 are filled with the insulating material of an insulator 11, and a segment 24 having the dovetailed molding section 22 and a segment 26 having no dovetailed molding section 22 are provided in turn. The commutator pieces 12 can be surely fixed to the insulator 11 by the structure of the dovetailed molding sections 22 and step sections or end faces 28.

摘要： The disclosed commutator for electric machines comprises segments (1) sunk into an insulating body (15) so as to have an improved resistance to pulling and to centrifugal forces. The bearing bush (8) of the commutator, also embedded into the insulating body (15) is a one piece part with a flange (10) acting as an armour ring with its edge (14). The flange (10) and the edge (14) extend about a front projection (5) of the segments at a uniform distance from the projection thereby forming a space filled with the material of the insulating body, respectively penetrating into a groove (4) provided at the front end (3) of the segments. Additional anchoring means (11) are formed on the bearing bush (8) in its portion situated in the region of higher material concentration of the insulating body (15).
