摘要： PURPOSE: To change the posture of the support of the terminal part of a brush holder and the final shape of the brush holder within the limitation in accordance with the application to a specific motor by a method wherein the terminal part of the brush holder is so supported as to be separated from the cylinder of the brush holder. CONSTITUTION: In the terminal part 112 of a brush holder 52, a pair of terminal tabs 134 and 136 are placed at positions apart from the cylinder part 110 of the brush holder 52 on a plane perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder part 110. The tabs 134 and 136 are connected to each other with a bridge band 138, and a support arm 114 is connected to the center part of the bridge band 138. The terminal tabs 134 and 136 have connection ends 140 and 142 and support ends 144 and 146, respectively. Notches which fit to insulator supporting elements 90 and 92 are formed in the respective support ends 144 and 146. The bridge band 138 may be a flat plane or may be of a shape by which a specific sidewise distance between the terminal tabs 134 and 136 which is different from the distance defined by the flat plane is defined in order to be suitable to a specific application.
