摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the unexpected release of a lock mechanism due to the strong pressure applied to a switch by fitting a switch inside of a handle freely to be turned around a first axis so as to operate a motor. SOLUTION: A latch 62 is positioned in a lock position or an engaging position, and a notch 68 is engaged with a lock pin 60 of a trigger 44, and maintained on the lock pin 60 by a compression spring 76. In case of trying to rotate the trigger 44, since the lock pin 60 and the notch 68 are engaged with each other, the latch 62 hinders the rotation. Force vector in the lock pin 60 is directed so as to be extended through a pivotal axis 64 of the latch. The force vector in case of trying to rotate the trigger 44 with the forefinger is generated in a tangent direction in relation to the radius of rotation, and the pivotal axis 64 of the latch 62 is extended so that a vector 92 obtained as a result of the operation of the trigger 44 passes through the pivotal axis 64. Consequently, the only force directly passing through the pivotal axis 64 is applied to the latch 62, and the accidental release of the latch 62 can be prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an extra cutting tool from a housing rapidly and easily by providing a retaining member to be fixed, in a pivotally movable manner, to the housing, adjacent to a storage compartment. SOLUTION: An arm part 40 is supported, in a freely pivotally movable manner, on a pair of trunnions 48 formed at the bottom wall part 24b of a field case part of a housing. Thus the retaining member is rotatable pivoted around the arm part 40 between an open position and a close position. A gear case cover part 52 encircling the gear train of a saw 10 and also forming one of the end walls of a blade storage chamber 24 is positioned adjacent to the nearby wall part 24 of the housing. The gear case cover part 52 has a first recessed part 54 and a second recessed part 56 to be separated from each other by a shoulder part 58. When a fixed cam 42 is set in the closed position, it is positioned in the recessed part 54. At this position, the retaining member cannot be moved without an assisting outer force to be imparted to a shoulder part 46 by an operator. Consequently an extra saw blade 26 is retained in the blade storage chamber 24.

Consequently, the movement of the strap 128 to the housing 12 is disturbed, and an adjustable shoe 122 is fixed to the housing 12 to set a desired cutting depth.
