    • Preparing aqueous polyurethane-polyurea dispersion comprises (i) preparing urea group-free, isocyanate-functional prepolymer by complete or partial conversion of (a) polyisocyanates, (b) polyols, (c) low molecular weight compounds, (d) optionally compounds having a hydroxy group, (e) isocyanate reactive, ionic hydrophilic compounds and (f) isocyanate-reactive, non-ionic hydrophilic compounds optionally in at least an organic solvent, (ii) adding (g) low molecular weight compounds or (h) optionally compounds having amino and/or hydroxyl group, and (iii) performing a dispersing process. Preparing aqueous polyurethane-polyurea dispersion comprises (i) preparing urea group-free, isocyanate-functional prepolymer by complete or partial conversion of (a) polyisocyanates, (b) polyols with a number average molecular weight of 200-8000 g/mole, (c) low molecular weight compounds having a molecular weight of 62-400 and sum of two or more hydroxyl groups, (d) optionally compounds having a hydroxy group, (e) isocyanate reactive, ionically or potentially ionically hydrophilic compounds and (f) isocyanate-reactive, non-ionic hydrophilic compounds optionally in at least an organic solvent or dissolving the isocyanate functional prepolymer in at least an organic solvent so that the isocyanate-functional prepolymer concentration in the solution is 20-70 wt.%, based on all components of the solution, (ii) adding (g) low molecular weight compounds of molecular weight of 32-400 g/mole having sum of two or more amino groups and/or hydroxyl groups or (h) optionally compounds having an amino group and/or hydroxyl group, (iii) performing a dispersing process by mixing water with the polymer solution with simultaneous distillation of the organic solvent in a dispersing- or distilling apparatus, where the volume filling degree of the dispersing- or distilling apparatus is 45-95 vol.% and (iv) obtaining a largely solvent-free polyurethane-polyurea dispersion with a residual content of organic solvents of 0-5 wt.% and a concentration of polyurethane-polyurea polymer particles of 20-70 wt.%, based on all components of the polyurethane-polyurea dispersion. An independent claim is included for the polyurethane-polyurea dispersion, obtained by the above process.
