    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for producing crystals from an adduct of a bisphenol and a phenol.SOLUTION: A method for producing adduct crystals of a bisphenol and a phenol including (a) the preparation of solution containing the bisphenol and phenol, and (b) the continuous crystallization in ≥1 crystallization device having a crystallization tank, a circulation pump and a cooling device is provided with that the staying times of liquid for crystallization in the crystallization tank are 2 to 12 h in each of the steps, the crystallization is performed by 1 to 3 steps comprising each of the crystallization devices, the temperature in the crystallization tank at the final crystallization step is 40 to 70°C, the bisphenol concentration in the flowing-in material to the first crystallization step is 15 to 40 mass%, the concentration of the bisphenol as a dissolved form in mother liquid in the flowing-out material from the final crystallization step is 10 to 20 mass% and the ratio of the crystals from the adduct of a bisphenol and a phenol is 20 to 30 mass%, the suspension of reaction mixture and crystals from the adduct contained in it are circulated by maximum 150 W/mpump energy, and the suspension is passed through in the circulating cooling device from its top part to bottom part by 1 to 5 m/s speed.
